I was checking out if any settings related to SPDY are available in the latest Firefox. It seems some settings are editable in and above Firefox 15. Go to the about:config page and type “spdy”. To enable SPDY change the following settings:
network.http.spdy.enabled ▸ true
network.http.spdy.enabled.v2 ▸ true
network.http.spdy.enabled.v3 ▸ true
I saw the following setting which particularly caught my interest:
network.http.spdy.chunk-size ▸ 4096
I changed it to 16384. At least from the name it seems that increasing the value may help broadband users gain some speed.
