Enable SPDY & boost (?) speed in Firefox

firefoxI was checking out if any settings related to SPDY are available in the latest Firefox. It seems some settings are editable in and above Firefox 15. Go to the about:config page and type “spdy”. To enable SPDY change the following settings:

network.http.spdy.enabled ▸ true
network.http.spdy.enabled.v2 ▸ true
network.http.spdy.enabled.v3 ▸ true

I saw the following setting which particularly caught my interest:

network.http.spdy.chunk-size ▸ 4096

I changed it to 16384. At least from the name it seems that increasing the value may help broadband users gain some speed.
